Terms of Use
1. Agreement and provider
These Terms govern your use of Passport Photo & ID Photo (the “App”), provided by APP BOX EOOD (Bulgarian: “Апп Бокс” ЕООД), UIC 207060361, with registered office at Lazur District, Block 109, Apartment 5, 8000 Burgas, Bulgaria (“APP BOX”, “we”, “us”). Contact: info@appbox.group.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The App is licensed through the App Store, not sold. These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the App Store Usage Rules. Mandatory law and Apple’s terms prevail if a provision cannot lawfully apply.
2. Licence
Subject to these Terms and Apple’s rules, APP BOX grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, including use permitted through Family Sharing. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
3. Document-photo purpose and responsibility
The App helps create, edit, crop, size, save, and print photographs for passports, visas, identity cards, résumés, and other documents. Rules vary by issuing authority and may change without notice. You are responsible for checking the current official requirements, print settings, image quality, and acceptability of the final photograph. APP BOX does not guarantee acceptance by a government, embassy, employer, or other organization.
4. Your photos and acceptable use
Your rights in your photos remain yours. You must have permission and a lawful basis to process every image you import or capture, including an image of another person or a child. You may use the App only for lawful purposes. Do not use it to impersonate another person, create or facilitate deceptive or fraudulent documents, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, bypass purchase controls, disrupt the App, or introduce harmful code.
5. Premium purchases and subscriptions
The App may offer a lifetime purchase and auto-renewable weekly or yearly subscriptions. Before confirmation, the App Store purchase sheet shows the available product, localized price, billing period, and any introductory offer. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the period and price presented by Apple unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period and will handle price-change notices where required.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account Settings and restore eligible purchases from the App. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Eligibility for introductory offers is determined by Apple. Apple processes billing, cancellation, and refund requests under App Store rules and applicable consumer law.
6. Availability, updates, and third-party services
We may maintain, update, add, remove, or discontinue features as operating systems, device capabilities, and document-photo requirements evolve. We aim to keep the App reliable, but uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation is not guaranteed. Purchases, restores, linked legal pages, analytics, and diagnostics depend on Apple, Google, or internet services outside our control. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using those services.
7. Intellectual property and support
The App, its software, visual assets, text, and branding are owned by or licensed to APP BOX and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer ownership. APP BOX, not Apple, is responsible for App maintenance and support to the extent required by law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for this App.
8. Disclaimers, liability, and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” APP BOX is not responsible for a photograph being rejected because official requirements were not met or changed, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer protections available in the EU/EEA or your country of residence.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using and delete the App at any time; subscription cancellation is a separate action. Your licence ends if you materially breach these Terms. We may restrict a feature where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or maintain security. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property and liability provisions, remain effective.
10. Governing law and changes
Bulgarian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or courts available in their country of residence. We may update these Terms for legal, security, provider, or functional changes. Material changes will be communicated through the App or its store listing, and the effective date above will be updated. Continuing to use the App after the new terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
